In this weeks session of RSL Active - Veteran (and First Responder) yoga, instructor Andy (Yoga Mate) guides the particpants through a 60min beginner friendly hatha yoga session.
The session builds on the foundations from previous weeks including:
Intro - Arrival, intention setting
Warm up - Standing 3 part breath - mountain - extended mountain - forward fold, mountain with toe stretch & twist (arms out), Chair - Sun Salutations
Standing - Wide legged pose, warrior 2 | warrior 2 - reverse | warrior 2 - reverse - extended side angle
Balance - (non yoga) 360 spins, Stork, crescent lunge w/ extended arm (bowling style)
Cooldown - strap single leg supine open, single leg supine across, savasana & mindfulness meditation (mistakes)
