RSL Active - Yoga (Belmont Rnd2) - 60min beginner friendly yoga (17sep24)

This week we had a full floor of veteran / first responder yogi's for RSL Active - Veteran & First responder yoga hosted by instructor Andy (Yoga Mate) at Belmont RSL.

Session 2 was a 60-min beginner level flow with chair modifications teaching the fundamental postures and sections of yoga lesson in a safe space. NB. Chair modifications are provided in the session.

Arrival & Warmup - I am connected to breath, mountain , forward fold, easy twist, 1/2 sun salutatation (mountain, extended mountain, forward fold, halfway lift, forward fold, extended mountain, mountain) x 3

Standing & Balance - Ankle Raise, (Baby) Tree, Tree with twist, tree twist (arms), stork - hip opener rotation, stork hip open balance, wide legged, warrrior 2

Floor, Core, Finale - Crocodile, Sphinx + 1/2 Frog L+R, Savasana (Final resting pose) + I am connected to breath meditation
